In addition, the liberal arts curriculum, which includes ‘100 Must-Read Books initiative’, encourages our students to develop ‘creativity-critical thinking skills’, ‘communication skills’ and ‘collaboration attitude.’ This will aid students in becoming stronger and more knowledgeable school who can contribute to future society. The GIST College was the first in the nation, and among a small number of universities in the world, to implement liberal arts edcation for scientists and engineers.
In the GIST College, students of hig motivation benefit from personalized education with small classes providing intimate interaction with professors and other students. in order to maximize classroom interaction, class numbers are limited to less than 25 students and specific emphasis is placed on developing students’ communication and presentation skills.
